Default Draggin' for Toys--Brainerd Optimist Drag Strip--November 19th

The race takes place November 19, 2011 at Brainerd Optimist Dragway. (745 Scruggs Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736).

This is Draggin' For Toys’ 10th year!!! DFT is a charity race which raises money to support T.C. Thompson’s Children's Hospital. Toy donations will be given to Providence Ministries, who provides these toys to children on Christmas day who may not have a Christmas otherwise.

Gates open at 9 AM. Tech is 9:30 AM - 12 PM. Racing starts at 12:30 PM. If you arrive after tech has closed, you can ONLY Test-N-Tune.

Spectators: $10 to get in the gate ~ children 12 & under are free.

Racing: $30 and one NEW toy for each class you participate in. If you do not bring any toys, then it will cost $40 total to race and $10 for each additional class you participate in. Please, only new, unwrapped toys.

Rain date: Following Saturday the 26th.

CLASSES

1.All Out: The title says it all...no limits class.

2. King of the Hill: Anything goes. No rails. Any type rear suspension allowed, stock or mini-tubs ONLY.

3. Drag Radial KOTH: Anything goes. No rails. Drag Radial tire ONLY. Any type rear suspension allowed, stock or mini-tubs ONLY.

4. Street King: Factory type cars w/bolt ons. Any type rear tire allowed. All engine bolt ons and mods/power adders are allowed. Ladder bars, four link, etc. will not be allowed. Cars will be teched for street equipment.

5. Quick Street: Factory type cars w/bolt ons. Street tires or drag radials. All engine bolt ons and mods/power adders are allowed. Ladder bars, four link, etc. will not be allowed. Cars will be teched for street equipment.

6. N/A Street Heat: Factory type cars, unlimited cubic inch motors and any tires. Ladder bars, four link, etc. will not be allowed. Cars will be teched for street equipment.

7. True street: Run what you brung, as long as its on "hard" street tires. No “purpose” tires or soft compound. Cars will be teched for street equipment.

8. Import/Sport Compact Class: Factory type cars, imports and sport compacts. Cars will be teched for street equipment.

9. Bracket Class: All participants wanting to run in a bracket class.

10. Bikes 751cc and up: Super sport rules apply.

11. Bikes 750 down: Super sport rules apply.

12. Heavy Hitters: Super sport rules apply; rider must weigh in at least 225 pounds geared up.

13. Diesel Trucks: Street legal with hard street tires. DR’s will be allowed. No tubs.

14. Gasoline Trucks: Street legal with hard street tires. DR's will be allowed. No tubs.

Note on truck classes: Just because someone races a truck doesn't mean they have to race in either of these truck classes, they can run in any class their truck qualifies for.

Will my 240sx with the ls1 be allowed in import class?

I'm not really sure, but my guess would be no. Looking forward to seeing your car run either way!
