Last year my wife and I took our 85 Trans Am to T/A Nationals in Dayton Ohio and really enjoyed ourselves. We're looking to take a similar trip again this year, but spend a little more time to do some more touristy stuff.

This year, we're debating between the Nashville TN area (since we're big country music fans) or South Carolina (near Myrtle Beach).

Timing is flexible, so we are hoping to time our trip to allow us to hit up at least one decent car related event. Anything going on in those areas this summer?? July, August or September would be the time range.
