Default Electric Buffer?

Any of you guys use an electric buffing wheel or similar to buff the wax off your cars? I know you cant leave the buffer in one spot for too long a time, but if you dont do that is it a good idea? Thanks guys

it all depends on whats your using and the speeds your at. usually i never buff wax off a car i always hand wax it. i use a variety of chemical guys compounds for detailing and 3m stuff for cars that i hve painted. personally i like to use a rotary but seeing as your a beginner i wont recommend due to the possibility of really messing your paint up. check out the porter cable or flex dual action polishers. the guys at tropicare can set you up with a real nice setup.
