Anyone in or close to PA wants to paint a Camaro?
I have a 95 Camaro in red, was going to sell it to buy a blue one (My wife wants blue, it's her car). I really can not afford the 4-5k they ask on paint and I do not want to end up going to maaco (heard many bad things about them).
I'm looking for someone who does a good job to paint this car for a reasonable price. I'm in York PA 17406 and would be willing to drive 3 hours to get a good paint job on this camaro.
I'll buy all the material and whatever is needed to get the job done, just need someone with a decent price to paint it.
Very serious and ready to do it whenever, I really don't know anyone around here.

Manchester auto collision in Manchester, MD does excellent work. They are about 2 1/2 hrs from you. He usually is pretty reasonable with his prices but don't how much he would charge.

Yup sure, Manchester Auto Collision 1-(410)-374-6133. Jon is the guy who owns the place. I go to him whenever I need something painted. He does excellent work. He is usually reasonable when it comes to pricing. Of course, depends on what you want done; wet sanding, multiple clear coats etc.

you save a grand or 2 if you do the prep stages your self. if you want a true change of color, your gunna need to remove the doors, hood, hatch, etc to get at all the jambs and engine bay.

you'd be surprised what a maaco can do if you really take the car apart. they have state of the art equipment and use the best products. however, it all does depend on the maaco. i went to one where the guy is into cars and enjoys doing "nice" cars. he has done many corvettes, camaros, etc. my old iroc was done at a maaco in mass.

I do paint and bodywork in Pasadena MD. About an hour or so away from you. I have decent prices on everything, probably about 2000-2500 since you would be buying the material. Check my FQuick below to see my paintjob and what kind of work I do.
