Default Turn signal relocation?

Going to be purchasing 2000 SS and have always loved the custom work that was done to the front end of the car pictured below. My body guy said he can definitely do it, I'm just worried about one thing. It is my daily driver and need to keep my front turn signals. Would it be possible to relocate them to the foglight location and maybe use a 98-02 firebird/formula turn signal housing or something similar?

im sure with a some wiring you can make the foglights the turn signals. just change the bulbs to an amber color and it should be fine. i dont think this has been done before so its a guessing game. also check to see if your state require that your have the sidemarkers as well.

Good idea.. To add on to it, you could buy some halo's off ebay, and wire the turn signal into the LED's they have on them.

They are white LEDs though, cops don't like that much, have to be amber. But the newer Sonar projectors look like the LEDs might not be too hard to change, it looks like you may be able to get to them from the back of the light.
