Default Separating turn signal lens... bake or cut?

I need to separate the front camaro turn signal lens from the housing. I have two sets to play with. What is the best way, bake or a thin blade dremel?

I know a headlight you would bake, but the adhesive appears to be different on the turn signals.

Thanks, Matt

Audi-inspired white LED strip running the length of the lens.

Any suggestions?

Ohh nice that sounds interesting. I just took a look at my old factory amber lenses and I'd say either bake them or use a hot knife if you had one. Keeps us updated

Do you know what temp/time to bake? It looks like the lens are sealed with some sort of epoxy, which I dont think will bake to well.

Agreed its not like a silicon sealer so thats why I'd say best bet is use a hitknife of something.

They're actually laminated together. The housing and the lens were heated up and then pressed together to allow the plastic to melt together forming a bond. The only real way to separate them is to use a dremel and cut off the outer lens. Afterwards I suppose you could use some silicone and press them back together.
