The latch can be moved up and down to certain point. You try that?

I had to use some shims in a few spots to get it to line up right.. You might wanna see if that helps.

I would loosen up everything and close the hood to see if you can move it into position the way you want it, so you need to find out why it wont latch.
If so, then you know its just a matter of getting everything tightend in the right spot.. I am not a paint/body expert but I know thats what I did when I put mine on, and it took several damn hours and some beer to finally get it looking decent.

I know it can be frustrating to install a hood - especially when it's your first time
But let me show these to our guy - he is excellent at troubleshooting these things...as he has installed them for customers in the past.
And I'm sure with some MINOR adjustments, this will sit correctly on the car for you.

I'll check with him in the morning.

It looks like you need to adjust your latch.
There are 2 bolts that you will need to loosen on your latch and move it over...this should allow the hood to sit correctly into place.
There is a diagram on how to do this on the instructional sheet we sent along with the hood as well.
Please let me know if you need any additional help~
Thanks!

Un fortunately with aftermarket hoods they do need some adjusting and some have gone as far as redoing the bumper, fenders, and aftformentioned hood latch. As well as hood hinges.

Try hood latch 1st, then the bump stops on the corners, I worry about the passanger side fender/hood gap near the windsheild.

There are 2 bolts on your latch that need to be loosened, from that point, you can adjust your latch and move it over.

When you are forcing a hood into a position it should not be in, there will be gaps because it is sitting over from where it should be.
This should take care of the problem...if not, then there may be some additional adjusting needed around the hinges.

But it usually does not come down to moving the bumpers or fenders in or around on our products.

You should have received an instructional sheet along with your hood. If not, let me know and I can send this over by fax or email to you.
It includes step by step what is needed to install the hood on the car.

That is correct. Once you loosen them it will move the latch around.
There are diagrams in the instructional sheet.
