98-02 hood hardware.. All id like to know is, is there a difference between the ram air- back brackets (ones closest to firewall) (the hinge from the car to the hood that swivels) i used the ones off a non ram air hood and the hood fits on, but not exact. Maybe there off just a tad or something (i noticed it is a different in part# from r/a to non on the brackets..), if anyone knows please let me know as my r/a hood i had to repair and maybe since i repaired it , its just not repaired right..

Yes there is ... I had to replace my hood, because someone stole it, and I had a hell of a time finding the WS6 hinges ... GM makes the hood but not the hardware .. they refer you to some "Vintage" place who doesn't make them anymore either ... your best bet is finding them on Ebay or from a wrecked WS6
