New ZR1 caliper paint color??

I'd pay a little extra and get them powder coated by a professional if you really want them to stand out. I know a guy that does a great job. PM me if you're interested.

I haven't tried to create that color in powder yet, but looking at that pic of those Brembo's I have a pretty good idea how it would be done. Basecoat and topcoat combo for sure. That Brembo picture basically just looks like an anodized blue powder though which is simple, I don't see any metallic in it or anything, but hard to say without a closer picture.

Per Brembo...They "do not" powder coat calipers. They are liquid painted and clear coated. They do not recommend powder coating.
GM liquid paints their ZR1 calipers.
Brembo also states powder coating does facilitate cooling as good as liquid painting. Also media blasting used in Powder Coating to prep cailpers have can become problematic when it gets into crevices and small parts if not completely cleaned. Brembo also sites that many of the calipers returned to Brembo for repair or service are due to Powder Coating.
