Default Removing camaro License Plate holder

Does the bumper need to be taken off or just pull it off?

Thanks.

? There are no screws holding the cheap plastic piece behind the license plate holder.

I want to install a billet grille if that helps?

The year of the car would be helpful. If it's a '93-'97 you have to remove screws.

Most people just yank it off, but removing the entire bumper and separating it from the back side would be the method I'd do if I was going to do that.

You can just yank like a mo fo but you're gonna have to take the bumper off if you want to put a differnt grille on.

x2. You can do some damage if something catches while yanking it off

I was concerned when I went to take mine off, but after reading that you just need to pop the two tabs on the far right and left out first, then the top has three tabs that are pinned in the back, just pull slowly with your back to some grass or something soft cause you are going to go flying back.

I tried yankin' it off this evening, the whole bumper was moving around like it was going to come off. I left it alone because I didn't want to deal with a ripped bumper. I 'll just take the harder way out and remove the bumper.

Thanks for input guys.

I've got a billet grille to put on too. I'm planning to take the bumper cover off to do it. It doesn't look to bad looking at the manual. Some plastic push fasteners in the top and a few nuts and bolts underneath and at the corners.
