i had the kit from vertical doors, its freraking thick and heavy metal! At least 30 lbs! the hinges were solid titanium pins about 15mm wide and they pivoted on ones that were like 1/2 inch or more, i never measured but it was heavy duty.

Even with the expensive kits, I hear that things don't always line up right. I've also heard that the struts don't last very long.

mine bolted in place perfctly, no mods or anything. Once you get all the panels off, and cut the half moon out of the inner fender, it took me 5 minutes to unbolt the other one, then i marked where the door was, and took me another 5 minutes to bolt up the lambo hinge. Its only 4 bolts. It lined up perfectly, STOPPED my leaking window, i would recommend these for the sole purpose of replacing the weak little factory hinges. BUT. Mine didnt open up far enough soi sold them.

Do you have any pics of the car with the lambo doors open? I know someone else did it and it looked ok on his car, but he had all the rksport stuff. Just curious to see how it would look.
