Default Removing Exterior Door Trim

It's time to come off. What's the best method to remove the exterior door trim?

Take a PLASTIC putty knife and carefully get behind one edge of the trim and pry it up. You should be able to pry or pull it off the rest of the way by hand. To get the double-sided tape off the car use a 3m rubber eraser wheel on a drill and it should come right off. Some parts houses carry them or u can go to a paint shop and find one. Its fool proof as long as u dont bear down super hard or have it turning too fast. Oh yeah make sure the panels u are pulling the trim off of haven't been painted on before. If they have and the trim was just taped off then u will have a mess once u remove the trim not to mention a big tape line. Hope this helps

Use heat gun as well and if it turns like mine, it will be difficult to take the glue or tape off.

I just pealed the molding off. It was on there pretty good. Then used some goo gone to get rid of the residue.
