Camaro front end conversion
I've been looking for a roller, and am finding way more LT1 cars than LS1 cars. I prefer the LS1 look. What all is needed to complete the conversion. Hood, fenders, headlights, foglights are a given. Do you need a different headlight bar? Crash support? Nuts, bolts? Thanks guys!

I'd like to know the answer to this as well.. only I will be going from an LS1 to an LT1 front end on my '01 Z28. I like the LT1 look better, and people that know the cars will think its just a cammed LT1/LT4 with max 340 to the wheels.

This is where i got my information when i did my camaro....

Theres not a whole lot to it...it actually really easy and you can re-use almost all the bolts, you may have to buy just a few more...
I spent about $500 to $600 to do mine, only because the brackets are pretty expensive brand new...I bought the hood from a friend for $50 and i was able to buy the front bumber and fenders from a place called certi-fit http://www.certifit.com/ for only about $120...the peices are not as good as the factory but you'd never know the difference....

Everything bolts right on its easy as long you have all the parts. I got a new energy absorber as well as a front support also have to either get a new impact bar or fabricate the existing one! I just finished mine!

I have a bunch of parts of a LS1 front end that I no longer need. When I bought my 93 Z28 it had an 02 SS front end on it. I recently put the LT1 front end on it and I have a bunch of the LS1 front end parts left.
PM me if you need something. I'm not looking to get much for any of it.

I just finished mine this week. I used some beatup OEM fenders, they fit better than the aftermarket fenders. Also, the aftermarket fenders i have don't have the metal support in the upper corners, not sure why that ended up being that way, but they don't have them. if i want to use the aftermarket, i would have to put in some type of support for them to be screwed in by the mirrors.
Also they don't fit flush on the shock tower. the tab looks to be too long so they would need to be trimmed.
You need all the brackets, there are three on each side. I bought all mine OEM a while back, I don't recall them being too expensive. All the bolts/screws are the same, you'll need to buy some extra.
I don't know how you can do it with the lt1 brackets especially with the headlights.
Also, I used a aftermarket bumper support and absorber material. I got my lines pretty good now, only issue I have are the headlights. There is about 1/2" gap in front of the bumper that I haven't figured out yet.
then you can do this easily
