Default Airbag help!

Ok, so the car I bought had bumped into a poll about a foot to the drivers side on the nose in a parking lot at about 10MPH setting off the airbags.

I replaced both bags and module, but I am afraid to death to hook the battery back up for fear of blowing the bags again....because I am not sure of the sensor.

Do I HAVE to replace the sensor in the front? or is it fine? the bumper isn't crushed, just cracked and a chunk missing out of it. But once the sensor is hit, does it have to be replaced? and where IS the sensor on the nose of the car?

Thanks.

matt.

On 98-02 I know the only component (other than airbags) is the module in the console (no crash sensors elsewhere)
