no but if its fiberglass you might want to look at vfn's struts cause they are suppose to be better for the hood. forget why but when i was looking at one thats what was reccommened

Interesting! I just put a fiberglass and the stock ones don't seem to cut it for the hood. Maybe it needs new ones, but I have to be careful pushing the hood down.
