Default Hood/Bumper/Headlight Gap

I just purchased a 2002 NBM Camaro and im having a little issue thats bugging the crap outta me.... The front bumper seems fine, no gaps or anything on the sides, however there is about a 1 inch gap between the bumper and the front leading edge of the hood..... the hood is lined up perfectly in the rear and on the sides, just a huge *** gap in the front....

also... there seems to be a large gap between the lower portion of the headlights and the bumper... i can put 4 fingers down in the gap... the black rubber trim is fine just a large gap there as well... what can i adjust to being the headlight closer to the bumper without throwing off my headlight aim.... the aim is perfect as we speak.... please help me out fellas....

I have this same problem with mine and have yet been able to figure it out, NOW im getting gaps between bumper and fender as if the bumper cover is "dragging" lower. If I pick up on the entire bumper cover it looks right and the gaps close but I can't get it to stay there even with all my tweaking I have done... So yes I have this problem too and im interested in a fix for it.

looking at the hood gap more... it seems like the bumper is sagging a bit, mine too seems like when you pull up on the bumper, the gap closes..... the hood is adjusted perfect all the way around.... so is there a way to pull the bumper back up from sagging???

that you know of.

carfax only knows about what gets reported. if a dealer fixes it out of their pocket its not on the report. if a owner takes it to a body shop with out insurance claim it dosnet get reported.

but as for the alignment check to make sure all the bolts and retainers are in their correct locations. as these cars are approaching up to ten years the plastinc push ins can become brittle and break.

also a picture would be extremely useful
