I'm looking for a hood for my car (98-02 front end). I like the raised ram air style ones, but really want a smooth but big cowl. I know Glasstek makes the 4" and will probably make a bigger one to order, but their hoods seem kindof older school and not the design I want for this car. I had a 6" on my Malibu wagon and loved it, and they look great on Gbody's and stuff, but I want something a bit more sleek. I'm wanting like a 5-6" raised cowl with a nice smooth flow, and no center lip or anything like that, lift off and almost to the windshield.

Anything/anybody??

I like the VFN Sunoco for the Camaro's but it's not offered for the TA's. I'd settle for that, but would be even happier for one just a little bigger.

A 4" ws6 is the biggest I've ever seen and IMO it was too big anything bigger then that will look horrible

They make a supposed 5" raised too that's actually got to be 6" or more, and its to the windshield. I actually know of one cheap but I don't want a ram air style hood. Everyone has them. Plus I need the space under it.

Pin on prefrably. Its a full blown drag car. I mean I'd deal with a bolt on but figure pin on is way easier to make

This is a member (Jordan81) on YB's Camaro. Something like this is what I want, maybe not as bubbled up front but I can deal with it. They do that so its not as high at the windshield and it can still be clearly seen over:

I've got the VFN 5" sloped and its difficult to see over...especially if you have to lower your seat due to a funnycar cage
