You should get that fixed....

J/K, awesome

I wonder if the 6le shaker/cowl kit would work with that.

2nd pic looks like there's dzus fasteners, 1st doesn't show them.
Was it a direct bolt on, or did you need a little help holding it down?

Looks good. It's too bad it didn't heat up enough to make the car sit a bit lower. ; )

Not interested in shaker. . .

Yes, dzus (was a bolt-on hood - switched to pin-on today)

Not worried about the 4x4 action. . . better for weight transfer

I didn't mean the shaker literally, I believe his kit relocates the airbox to the top of the engine, like the ltx ss'. What I shouldve said was, I believe he advertises that the kit takes full advantage of cowl hoods.

Just an option, if that's what you were looking for.

I forgot to mention. . .

Switching hoods, I went (according to VFNs site) 25 pounds to 14 pounds on the hood. I think the bolt on might be a smidge heavier.

Hood swap - 11 pounds
Hinges - 6 (17)
Hood latch/bracketry - 5 (22)
Windshield wiper motors & such - 8 (30)
Windshield wipers - 4 (34)
Windshield fluid reservoir (1/2 full) - 11 (45)
Hood struts - 5 (50)
Misc nuts/bolts - 3 (53)

Not too bad!!!!!

I think if you drill a hole straight through the middle of it the swelling should go down.
