Default Rocker panel damage + minor quarter panel damage

God damn it I did not need this right now. It's entirely my fault though.

Wet conditions + shitty tires... well, you know how these things go.

The rocker panel took a hit and is damaged.
What is the absolute best way to fix it? Looks like a PITA to replace it.
I assume there is a GM replacement part?

Getting one from a parts car is not an option since there are none in my country. And I will definitely not be doing this myself lol.

The quarter panel also has a slight dent as you can see. How much of a PITA is that?

Sorry for the shitty cell phone pic. I'll post more later.

Damn man that sucks! I hate that for you! Honestly I would straighten all of that but make sure you use a bodyshop that knows what the hell they are doing! The only bad part is that its hit in one of the strongest areas on the car and it's hard to pull those areas without being on a frame machine and having the right tools to do it with. Damn I hate that but good luck!!!

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. And I was going to put it away for winter storage today and put the headers and ORY on + a lot of other things. Ahh this sucks.

But there's more damage.
The car actually hit a curb going sideways, went over it and took down a traffic sign while at it.

How bad is this? The fender tab and door also cracked, but that seems to be it.

More pics. The quarter panel damage baffles me.

The car will no doubt go to the best body shop guys I know of, they've fixed f-bodies that were completely totaled.

A friend's Formula, looks mint today.

Another Formula, a show car today.

This is pretty minor damage and can be repaired somewhat easily. Check out the damage that happened to mine the post start date was on July 31 2010. I would put the url for the thread but I'm on my phone and that would be a PITA. My car had severe rocker damage and very similar damage to the quarter, but mine was worse. The body shop did an excellent job. I hope to have some pics of the finished car to update the thread. I will try to post over the weekend.

I'm sry to see your damage but I wouldn't worry too much as its repairable.

Yeah I remember that thread, glad to hear it was repaired! I love Firehawks.

Now I'm just waiting for a quote from the body shop.

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know where to get a replacement rocker panel?

gmpartsdirect has it and pretty much anything else you need. Prices are pretty good too!

Just enter the year make and model and search for "Rocker panel"
