Default Looking at buying this Hood What would it take to Fix???

I'm looking at buyinbg this hood, but it's got a slight flaw by one of the Ram Air nostrils. Looks likeit's flaking a little or something. I know NOTHING about body work, so figured I'd ask the fine folks of LS1Tech

The pictures kinda suck, but what do you think? I need to get the hood painted silver anyway, would this take much to fix? Idea on a $ to fix this and repaint?

Thanks

Well it looks like it is actually fiberglass and it appears to be cracked/shred. It is a easy fix. If you can not do it yourself it will probably cost you about 600. However that should be to repair it and paint it the color you want and blend it into your factory color.
