Default TA spoiler - 2 piece?

I'm just now getting around to messing with this thing and noticed its two pieces... I dont want to break it by prying them apart but I have seen TAs that were rear-ended and the top piece seems to pop off pretty easily.

my question is can I fill the gap and give it a 1-piece appearance? If so, would resin and thin fiber work or is there a better option?

TIA

The spoiler part is bolted onto the hatch.. You need to open the hatch and remove the plastic panel on the bottom and remove the bolts then lift the spoiler off.

As far as a one piece I think it looks that way now what gap are you trying to fill?

The spoiler itself is made of two pieces. They are bonded together and it would take breaking them to get em apart. You can fill the little edge thats inside and outside pretty easily. I did on mine. Sand down to the FRP with 150 grit and fill with short strand fiberglass filler and sand smooth. That easy! Sorry this pic doesn't show it well...shaved my 3rd brake light too!
