Default bubbles in my suncoast ws6 hood

i bought this hood used and noticed these bubbles. they are very small, but bother me. is this something that can be wet sanded or will the hood need a repaint?

Most likely it will need to be repainted. Before you decide to repaint it, wouldn't hurt to try wet sanding it though. Painter probably didn't allow it to flash between coats.

U can use a razor blade to remove them, wet sand accordingly and get out the buffer and compound.

It will bubble again.... the suncoast hood I had fit well but it bubbled in several places... unless its a show car fill the spot with touch up paint and save your money. Mine put about 2 bubbles a year for the four years I had it.

Edit: ewwwwww just loaded the pictures and yea.... that's how my small number of bubbles looked as they started. You'll have to get that thing repainted if it is indeed the hoods glass that's bubbling and not re paint being done wrong.

FWIW I wont have suncoast products on my car again. VFN gets my next attempt at cutom body parts.

It is hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like glass bubbles, not paint... Push on one of the bubbles, and see if the glass bursts on the top. Either way, it needs to be re done.

Those do look like a lot of bubbles. I hope you got the hood at a real good price.
