ok so i bought my 99 z28 how it is and someone put an ss replacement hood on it and did it completely wrong! ok so there are no hood struts or mounts and i can't find any replacement mounts anywhere. I see where the mounts bolt to the hood but thats it nothing else. Does anyone know where i can find new mounts, i found the struts at autozone. The guy also completely destroyed the hood latch and for some reason there are no listings for them either, im pretty frustrated that i can't find these parts anywhere, someone please help!

would a 97 have the same hood strut mounts? i grabbed some off a 97 at a junk yard havent had the chance to see if they'll work or not

Junk yard is the best bet.I don't know if a 97 will fit

as far as i kno all 4th gens are the same bud. at least the 3 i have owned are. 94,97,98 all the same
