Default 99 Formula- New Paint V2.0- 2012 Ashen Gray Met-Updated Pics

When I bought this car back in Feb of 2010, we painted it an off silver color with some blue and grey tones in it. See the thread below.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/paint-bod...tom-paint.html

I decided I wanted a darker grey, almost black on the car. After looking for the right color for about 4 months, I decided on the new 2012 Chevy Ashen Gray Met. I have been sanding wet sanding for 4+ hours every night for the past week to get this ready to shoot today. Below are the pics. I'm really happy on how it turned out and should have it baack together this week. We'll wetsand and buff it next week as well. The RTS's make the paint look so deep. I'll have updated pics once I make more progress this week.

When I bought it:

I don't think so. It's new for 2012. Ashen Gray Metallic.

Thanks guys. The car was pretty straight since we did it 2 years ago but ahad a couple things to fix. I had about 4-5 hours of wet sanding it with 500 at night for a full week in order to get in the booth. I did the prep and Greg from Kolorcraft Autobody sprayed it. I'll have more pics of it put back together by the weekend. Were going to wait a couple weeks to wet sand/buff it before the local Syracuse show in March.

It's like a dark pewter metallic color. Some shots look pewter, while others look black. Even on the same panel, it looks like it changes colors, maybe it's the lighting. I like it a lot.

Op do you drive with no front license plate? If you do you could have bought fiberglass filler for thr front plate and could have the license plate filler perminant and no gap.
