Default Bumper Holes Getting Filled

Pulled that front cover off of the Camaro and found those ugly holes, so I'm having the holes filled. But any ideas what I should put behind the bumper to cover the bumper support? Snapped a few pictures..

Ideas are greatly appreciated.

It was for the cover that went over it the camaro piece. The camaro piece to me looks 100 times better.

Oh we do, I'm just going to get a hide away plate.

When ever my car makes it to paint here in the next 20+ years, lol, I'm having this done as well if I don't go the turbo route. I can't stand seeing them damn holes and it sucks cause I got rid of my insert. Oh well. You live and you learn.

When I pulled off that cover it just makes the car have a totally different appearence lol, now i just need to find some mesh that will look good behind it to hide the bumper support.

Well I know a guy who does body work, so I'm getting it done for free. But it shouldn't be too costly, only filling in the holes and paint? But yeah, I'll definitely post pics when it's done which should be in the next week or so.

I like that look, did it on mine as well.I also filled the Camaro tag on the nose. Used Dominion #4 and #5 repair compound, topped with urethane filler primer and block sanded. That plastic compound is perfect for those bumper covers and is a lot different than bondo. Fairly easy DIY.

Great tip-does it require any body work skills? And where do I purchase those products?

Your damn right on that!
I just wedge my front plate between the dash and windshield. Live in the DFW area and no ticket yet.

I'm feeling really good about living in AZ now - we are only issued one plate - the front is not required.

It looks like there are several different flavors of Duramix - is there one specific type that works best on the front plastic bumper cover? I've got some rock chips that literally took CHUNKS out of the plastic that I'd like to fill before having the car repainted...

I've also seen some stuff at the auto parts store that comes in a small epoxy-like tube that is supposed to be good for "flexible" plastic repairs - It's made by 3M - would this be sufficient to fill holes in our bumper covers before repainting?

Thanks! sorry for not updating more, hoping the car is being done soon. The guy had a few other things to work on but hopefully within this next week and I can get some pics up!
