repaired. probably a 5 hour dent. really helpful since you can get to the back side and push half that out with the palm of your hand.

Try a minimum of 10h on that due to area and previous work done to it and the rust under it. i would repair it over replacing it.

I wish you the best of luck palming the dent out, I'm off to the gas station, going to fill a five gallon can full of 87 octane, set it under a phone booth and fly my *** to the moon.

ill put it to you like this i've been a body man for about 15 years and its really hard to look at a picture and estimate time its gonna take to do a repair of that size. you need to drop the bumper and pull that taillight out to see just how bad the damage is. with the way the quarter is crushed around the tail light i would bet that the tail light pocket is pushed in a little and the lower quarter is probably pushed in as well. if i was to write that estimate it would have 2 hours of pull time and 14 hours to straighten the quarter. anyone who tells you they can do it any other way is either smoking crack or there not gonna give you a quality repair.

I had that exact same spot damaged. That isn't going to be cheap to fix and it definitely takes longer then 10 hours like the guy above me said.

Thanks for the info. I already have a nice Camaro. Sad to see that car sit for three years. The best info given is that everyone recommends repairing and not replacing. I was thinking of fixing and repainting it blue.If the owner sells it to me. Maybe it should be parted out. I saw a bad azz Camaro on ebay. Highest bid $4,500. Seller wanted $11,000.00.

A shop may charge 10 hours but I could fix that in 5 with my eyes shut. Definitely fixable and with your car being black, you can paint just the panel your working on.

A shop is in business to make money for them and their flat rate employees! Not saying it cant be done for less, I just prefer to make money for my time and experience.

Well yeah of course they are, I work work for one. Im saying Goatman isnt far off - it could be repaired in 3-5 hours by an experienced body man. A shop can charge whatever they want.
