Default 2000 Camaro Z28, want to put a 1996 z28 front end, what's needed

I have a 2000 camaro z28, with the "catfish" front end, i really want the 1996 front end.
what else would i need, other than an LT1 Intake Manifold, LT1 Hood/fenders/lights.....?
I love the LS1 engine which I plan to keep, but want the 1996 LT1 look.
I thought the 1996 version of these cars looked much better, ya know, more aggressive and sportier.
also i think it would be easier than putting an LS1 into an actual 1996 car.

Looking to go from this:

to this :

but still have LS1 power. Any Ideas?

its an easy job to do but the question is, is it worth it?
you will need both fenders, headlights, bumper, hood i think you're referring to the radiator support and NOT intake manifold..
if i were you i would get a CME exhaust instead and save somecash. LT1's are nice but 98+ just looks better and newer.

I would spend the cash on a 98+ SS hood, it would make your car look way more aggressive. I understand everyone has their preference and yours being the LT1 look but if it were me I'd stick with the 98+ look, especially with the whistler mod and SS hood it would be killer. Also, look into the 6ltitereaterdesigns front splitter. http://6litereaterdesigns.com/store/...products_id=75
That will beefen up the agressive look a lot.

shouldnt be very hard to find someone on here that wants to do the opposite swap as thats pretty common to update to the 98+ nose especially when people swap to ls power. now you just need to find someone with a red car that wants to swap

this

the older front end looks stuck in the 90s, the newer one is fairly fresh looking even today and all it takes is a nice grill or remove the grill and fill in the holes along with a nice hood to make it pop

a lot of money just to look like a different stock 90s car

Obviously you are set on swapping to the older front BUT for the cost either get a Sunoco hood, SS hood, change up the headlights, fill in the front grill or get an SLP grill and you will be extremely happy!

I went from this:

To this

And to this:

And a few other changes over the years but I finally got some whistler modded corner lights to complete the front and couldnt be happier!

You look like you have a very clean car so just a few changes and she will be killer.

No problem, if I actually had a LT1, I would get that bumper. Makes the front look so much better. $700 with shipping is a lot for a bumper though IMO

You need fenders, hood, bumper cover, impact absorber, l/r headlamp assemblies and all of the various brackets that secure all of the above are different. The night vision with 96 back lights does suck compared to 98 up FYI

I like the 96 back look also never have liked the 98 up redesign of the camaros. The reason we like the 1996 back look is probably because we are 10-17 years older than the young twirps in f-bodies these day's and the LT1's were hot cars when we were in high school still.

Unless you can find someone to straight up swap it may be kinda pricey but you can probably find a complete v6 car for donor parts for cheaper.

i've always foudn the 93-97 body style a lot better. I also like the 93-96 interior better as well. MAin thing when i was looking for my car i would of dealt with a 97 but i thought the 96 and prior dashes looked more driver oriented haha
