Custom T/A On A Budget
So I picked up a 95 roller for a decent price thinking I was just gonna throw in my LT1 and go. Then the ideas started.... I'll sand it, and paint it myself. Oh, I'll come up with a lighted filler panel. Hey, retro tails would be cool. As much of a pain as it was, and the fact I've never painted a car before, it didn't turn out too bad. Bought all the paint stuff including guns from eastwood. Did Sublime green and Boulevard black.

still not totally done, but should be this week. Light up filler, retro tails, deleted side moldings, deleted egr, air pump, and evap system, lowered fan temps. Richmond 3:73, MSD 6a box and coil. New opti, water pump, hv oil pump, oil pump drive, and other misc odds and ends. oh, and a cheesy *** cold air intake because the stock elbow was shredded like they all do and I didn't wanna pay that much to replace it. Also used vht black on marker lights and 3rd brake light. It took some time to get the brake light to work. It kept wanting to spiderweb for whatever reason.

Yea I'm really surprised it came out this good considering the dusty shop, $30 paint guns, and then the fact I've never done this before lol. I'm a mechanic, not a body and paint guy.
