Exclamation Sunoco hood crack/ installing

Hey guys, I just got my sunoco hood in, and i love it. I just want to know if it is okay to drive it around, get rained on and such without having it painted yet. also there is a small crack at the top right by the mirror, will that be okay and also able to get wet and drive with that? Also how much would a body shop cost to fix (pictures included). Thanks!

Lots of people drive them around unpainted for years. You'll be fine. As far as the crack, your body shop should be able to fix it when they install it.

Mine came with a crack in the same spot. I haven't painted mine yet, but my body guy said it's an easy fix and not worth sending it back over. Also yes you can get the gelcoat wet, it won't hurt anything. Infact I think they recommend it sitting in the sun for a few days before painting.
