Default what do u guys use to dye plastic interior panels

What do u guys use to dye interior pieces. I have some stuff from 5.0 res but they are mustang specific colors. I am redoing to whole inside so I guess I can still use it if there isn't something out there. These stuff I have used in the past was a 3 stage process and worked and looked awesome. The adherence was excellent even on the hard no flexible stuff.

That is what i used in the past. I would do the prep, primer, then paint. I came out great. Didnt know if there was something better. Do they make year secific stuff. I always went with a black and just did everything so it all matched. It was super durable even on the hard plastic.

X2. If it's a Ford Mustang panel it's likely a cheaper polypropylene resin. Paint does not stick to olefin resins well (polypropylene and ethylene) so make sure to use the correct primer so it doesn't flake off later. If it's ABS, you should be able to clean and spray directly without issues. I do this stuff for a living.

It is a 98 firebird. Never done a 4th gen interior so I am not familiar with the process on them. I have always done mustang stuff and know that process well.

I used Dupont 2310s plastic sanding paste with gold scuff pads. Then used Dupont 2330s adhesion promoter. Then I used SEM Paint, but used the non aerosol version so that I could add the flattening agent to get the level of gloss I wanted. Came out great, nobody would know it has been painted unless I told them. I did all of the interior plastic, as well as the entire dash.

Duplicolor vynl and fabric paint. 3 years now no fade or cracking

The radio bezel is ebony as well as the center console, the dash and doors are painted black. I did paint the dash in the car but I took the door panels off and painted those. In the picture below the gauge cluster bezel is the factory gray. It all looks oem so I never get any compliments lol
