Quarter panel rippling
Has anyone experienced rippling of the passenger side quarter panel? There are wavy imperfections in the panel most noticeable when you look from an angle. Just wanted to know if this is a common issue with these cars or it's something else.

My z28 had the same some rippling on the drivers 1/4, it was a police car and looked like it was where someone leaned against it. I had some pdr work done and it made it beter. Not I just need a skin coat of filler and to paint it. Once I get the time.

They're probably "torque dimples". Do a search for that and you'll find some related posts. From what I gather they are pretty common due to daily driving body flex and the way the body torques/twists on hard launches.

Im sure they are torque dimples. Subframe connectors will prevent that from happening further. Since the frame isn't one solid piece when under heavy throttle the car will twist, thus resulting in your "torque dimples".
