Default Touch up on bottom of car

Quick question. I was installing my new panhard bar and there were some scratches where I had to work the bar onto the rear. Nothing major but it did scrap off the paint and left some bare metal exposed. What is a good way for me to protect it so it doesn't rust? I don't need to paint it or anything, just protect it from the elements. Thanks in advance for any help.

You could try Rustoleum or maybe POR-15.

If its black then just paint it black, if its red and you want to keep it pretty red then you can use engine enamel clear coat.

Sorry, I should have specified. The scratching of the paint is on the body side. The bar is fine and pristine so far. Will these recommendations also work on the body side?

Bump. Here is a pic of the scratches I want to cover up with something so that rust does not start to creep in. These happened when I installed the panhard bar.
