Default Opinions - gloss and matte on the same car

Hey guys and gals. I've got a bright red T/A that I have painted the sail, spoiler and did the ceta all in matte black. I kind of like the way it all looks but my sail panel is due for replacement. It's already bubbled up through my paint and looking ugly. I've had a 6LE carbon fiber sail sitting in the house for over a year now and figured it's time to install it. The thing is, how will the high gloss of the CF look with the matte black pieces? Should I move to gloss the spoiler and ceta? Thanks for all advice and opinions.

I think you should make it matte. Your only matte part would be the wing if the new panel was shiny, and then that would look unbalanced I think.

Both the spoiler and the ceta style black I put on the bumper would still be matte. Are you saying I should paint the carbon fiber sail matte? It would be a shame to cover up that CF though.

I'd go gloss black, leave the carbon alone

if anything just matte clear the carbon fiber...plastidip and duplicolor has its version i think is better and a bit easier to get off later. they also make matte clear. get it at o'reilly's Auto Parts.
