Default Repairing a fiberglass hood

I found a fiberglass SS bolt on hood that has a small chip in the corner, anyone have any advice on repairing it?

YouTube has piles of How-To's. I would start with a thorough cleaning, followed with wax and grease remover then move onto sanding adjacent area with 80g on the DA sander. Do both sides of hood. This will reveal any stress cracks(if any) under the paint. It will also provide an area for the resin to bite into. You will have to make a mold of some sort to mimic the original shape. You can make molds from model clay. (Think hobby shop) Line finished mold with aluminum foil, then start laying fiberglass mat and resin until desired thickness/strength is achieved. Probably at least 6 layers of mat. Follow all that with shaping/sanding, then add body filler, primer, etc.

Might be easier to just take to a body shop or maybe even a boat repair place since they do fiberglass and will have the knowledge and materials
