Default Removing stock windshield

Going to have a cage welded in my car in the next few week's. Chassis guy wants the window out. What tool and tricks/tips do you guys have for removing it. If it breaks/cracks its not the end of the world i just want it out. Also is the molding reuse able

I watched some guys take mine out when I had it replaced. You need to remove the forward dash topper (the one with the defroster vent in it, the one that always breaks when you take it out) and the A-pillar molding, as well as loosen the black plastic cowl pieces under the wipers. Then you use sharp credit card-like bits to scrape it out at the edges. The adhesive is a kind of caulking that will have to be reapplied to glue the window back in. You will also need a new adhesive puck after you remove the rear view mirror.
