I did mine gloss black and kept my other panel painted Pewter in case I didn't like it. Gloss is good IMO it matches the roof and you can wax it. Painted mine 2 yrs ago with a spray can and spray clear and quite a bit of polishing. I think it makes the back of the car look so much meaner. People think the back looks good and don't know why, and when I tell them it is painted black they realize that is what sets it apart.

i'm kinda thinking of doing something like this... how did you go about smoothing out the "CAMARO" indentations? fill it with body filler or a fiberglass filler? i figured i'd scuff it, or sand it, and lay down some fiberglass and then sand it smooth. i'm also thinking it would be cool to get rid of the rear lock cylinder because i don't use it, i just use the remote... is there a way to get rid of the lock, or at least the part of it that sticks through the panel?
