sounds like your reading the 3rd brake light dot number on the spoiler??

when I took off my ss spoiler off my friends wreck I remember seeing SLP on the brake light. I didnt really look for the numbers already knowing the car was a true ss just took it straight to paint..

just post a pic

you can tell by the pic.

the OEM is 2 piece design. in the back, if it has a top piece that sits on the bottom piece, its OEM

if its 1 solid design, then its not oem.

no 96/97 is one peice, the 98-02 has pdestals, why do u want to know if its oem?
