Default New Paint, a few body mods

I had a few martini-induced scrapes on my car, had torn off half of the front spoiler, and had some curb rash on my Budniks. So I:

1. Replaced the front spoiler with one from West Wings (no longer available, BTW)

2. Had the brushed aluminum Budnik Fl M5 wheels black chromed

3. Shaved off the side body lines from the front quarter panel to the back

4. Shaved off the antenna

5. Replaced the crappy fitting SLP hood with one from VFN

5. Had it painted black with red pearl

I think it turned out pretty good.

it looks great!! who did the body work?

the only things i think i would do differently..is
body mold the body kit so its all 1 piece with the body (i think it would look killer then)
obviously lower it
and get one of the 1 piece high rise spoilers

i know, i had to put what i would do...like you care

Thanks! I thought about doing the body thing, but I thought that would look a little strange from the back, since the line where the truck meets the body would stand out.

Foreign Auto Body in Gardena, CA, did the body and paint work. They were featured on an episode of Overhaulin' and they also painted one of Jesse James' cars.

Really like the color. I'm planning on something similar. Was it originally black, and what did you do about jambs and under hood?

Thanks. Yes, it was originally black. They painted the jambs, but nothing was done under the hood.

I looked at several variations of black/red pearl before I decided on this one. I wanted something pretty subtle, which this is.

I'm not supposed to wax it for a month. Then I'm taking it back and they're going to buff it for the last time, and then it's Zaino time.

Looks great. I want a cowl hood. How did VFN's fit? How much work out of the box to get it to look like that? I think I would get the one with the "crease" up the middle, but that looks great too!!!!
