Default Door skin is seperating.....what glue?

The leading edge of the door skin, from the trim up, has seperated. I can pull it apart enough to run a new bead of adhesive on it, but what should I use?
Can I use something from like a Walmart, or do I need something special from a body shop?

You should see if you can get something from the body shop. **** from Wally world will not work. I had the rear part of the door skin on a 94 Z come apart and that is what I had to do. I tried all the different epoxies and it didnt work.

I wonder if AZ or Pep Boys would have something like that.

A quick google turned up some Fusor items at NAPA for about $20. Thanks.

Let's see more detailed pics. When I picked mine up in 01, I thought I had a paint issue. Now my brother in law thinks the doorskin was ready to seperate from day one!

You need a fiberglass bonding adhesive. Eckler's corvette sells it. I had a similar problem when someone tried (unsuccessfully thank goodness) to break into my car. Pulled the door plies apart. Can't remember the name, still have some at home, I can look later.

I had this issue with my 95 and couldn't get anything to hold up, it worked for a while, but vibrations of driving took it's tole and it kept separating. I honestly would either have a body shop pull the whole door skin and professionally put it back together or have the door replaced.

It's Vette Panel Adhesive/Filler for SMC & fiberglass panels. Do a search for vette panel adhesive filler 870. It will work. Mine has held up for several years now. From the looks of it my doors were alot worse off than yours.

Keep it clamped down real good during curing process. Might have to remove the door in your case.

3M makes some AWESOME adhesive bodyglue. Just like he states ^. Local body supply store and get the 2-part 3M glue. Works amazing and holds up very well.
