Default New paint idea

SO I have a Vert, thats in need of new paint, I want to keep it black but add some stripes. What im thinking is a very deep black with flat black racing stripes and red pinstriping outlining the racing stripes. Ive never seen another car like this so just wondering what you guys think?

I think that would look very cool. I have seen black cars with flat black stripes. ehhh too subtle..almost looks like your paint is faded. I think the red pin stripe would set the stripes off nicely.

i dunno about the idea, but if you did it, i would do a dark red pin stripe, not something bright that sticks WAY out... i think a dark grey stripe would look better...

Sounds like a new idea for sure. If you go through with it, make sure to post pictures.

idk man, stripes dont work that well on this car, my dads 69 has stripes, its just the body that makes it look awkward on these cars in my opinion. but do whatever you want, its your car.

ghost stripes are sick especially if the right pearls are used. besides with ghost stripes you clear over them and they can be wetsanded completely flat.

IDK about a red pinstripe on that combo, it would look like all you had was red outlines of stripes from first glance. I'd have to see it to be sure, but IMHO I'm don't think it would look right. It would be easy to mock up though, just get some vinyl flat stripes and lay them (without removing the backing) on the car and then run some stick-on pin striping around them. If you don't like it, the pin striping will peel right back off, no harm no foul.
