My wife noticed earlier today that my 99 Camaro hardtop has some pretty substantial scratches on the hardtop roof. Don't know where they came from, they were not there last night, I'm thinking a damn cat got on there last night and really fugged it up. They are pretty deep and I would like to get something on there to at least make it not stand out like a sore thumb. What would be best to use on this. Obviously, anything is going to probably look like crap, short of a completely new top or at least a re-paint, but right now thats not in the cards......

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you try buffing them out at all? Thats what I would try first, because I have never seen touchup paint that looked good.

I agree on the touchup paint, unfortunately, these are way too deep to buff out. Almost like gouges.
