Default Painting engine bay, intake, and valve covers.

So I recently pulled my motor out of my car and while I have it out I figured I should repaint the engine bay gunmetal to match the stripes on my hood. I'm debating on whether or not to paint the intake and valve covers the same color. Do you guys think it would be too much gunmetal or should I paint the intake and valve covers a different color? Any imput would be appreciated. Thanks guy!!

Do the engine bay whatever color the exterior of the car is, except use actual metallic base with clear instead of that flat s#!t the OE used. (looks like silver) and then do the accent color in either gunmetal or red.. either will look great.

^ I agree with Whistler. I think a Gunmetal accent and CETA would set it out nice. It wouldn't be too much nor too little.

As others have said keep the bay the same color as the car and do the acc in the other color. I did mine gloss black and used gunmetal for the wheels/intake and CAI

I love the way the Gunmetal stands out on your car with the black. It doesn't jump out and slap you in the face but you know it is there. Some people fail to realize that sometimes less is more. Outstanding job on yours, looks excellent

Nothing looks better than a detailed engine bay. It should turn out great... can't wait to see it.
