Default Brand New Paint on Hood...Swirl marks everywhere

so here's the deal, Just got my new VFN WS9 hood painted and fitted on friday. I was so happy to see it painted when i picked it up didn't really look at it in great detail.
The color matching is great, Looks really good. But the Hood has swirl marks all over it. Yea, my car has swirl marks on it and seeing as its NBM you can really see them good up close. but this hood was just painted and has worse swirl marks in it than my whole body does......anyone have any suggestions or comments? Would appreciate it.

Take it back to the shop that painted it and tell them to polish them out. There's a swirl remover polisher that they can use.

I bet they buffed it where there was not enoughl light and they did not see the swirls like you can see them in direct sun light. They should be able to buff them out in like two hours.

maybe they just wanted it to match the swirls on the rest of the car

have them buff the whole car for you while they're at it

sound like they used a wool cutting pad and did not finish with a good foam pad. You can use wool for cutting but must use foam for finishing because it will leave swirl marks lie hell. They can finish with meguiars tan polishing pad. Better yet ask them to hit with maroon meguiar pad then the tan for a true show finish. Trust me i own a custom paint and restoration shop. Sounds like they are hard core insurance body shop that go on hours instead of customer satisfaction. Just take it back for sure.

LMAO!!

But yeah, I'd just take it back and have them get the swirl marks out of the hood.
