Quick Bondo question

Default Quick Bondo question

Im in the middle of repairing a panel that some guy dinged in a car park. But I ran out of hardener for the Bondo, is fiberglass hardener the same stuff??.

well what fiberglass, like the resin stuff, or the fiberglass like duraglass

Sorry, the resin stuff. Its a clear solution, in a little plastic squirt bottle like the Bondo hardener.
I know in England we used to make our own Bondo with resin and talc, and the resin hardener worked ok for that.

id say no but you coulda tried mixing a small amount and let it dry...

you shouldent have run outa hardener...doesnt take that much in the mixture

no, bondo hardner is made to activate bondo/duraglass, lol i dunno what you making out there but why not go buy a quart of bondo evercoat to be exact and get a couple tubes of hardner
