I dont think its gonna happen, so I will see if anyone else wants to make a project of it.
I believe it is a 4.1" bore LS1, but possibly 4.125". The plan was to put a 4" crank in it that would make it either a 422 or 427. Im getting old so I cant actually remember that part embarassingly enough, but I have the receipts for it and I can check for whoever is interested. I originally paid $3k for the bare block alone, and over $5k for the short block. It had an offset ground stock crank in it, and the crank bent. I threw everything else away, but the block was checked and cleaned/honed and is good. I will allow the buyer to inspect the block upon receipt and take it to a shop and if you are not completely satisfied you can return to me for your all your money back.
I'm in Aiken, SC. I'd prefer to meet or have someone pick it up, but I suppose I could ship it if I figured out how, lol. I will post up some pics probably tonight, but it looks like a new block.

The block is a wet sleeves setup, I am going to email the builder to see if it was a MID or not. It was built by Rapid motorsports in Reading, PA, same person who built the 402 LS2 that is now in my car. The block is all aluminum.
I will confirm the bore also. As far as price goes, you are welcome to make me an offer, but I do not think the price is unreasonable and my preference for buyer would be best price combined with if I can avoid shipping it, and after that first person who committed to it.

so this would be the block:

Again I am hoping Mike@rapid emails me back, but looking through 100s of old emails, the block was built at 4.1" and we talked about honing it to 4.125" as part of cleaning it up, but I do not believe it was done. The walls were thick to start with so it could handle it, but it was built for maximum durability so I think thats why I stuck with the 4.1 -- to me the extra 5 cid was not worth it vs. max durability. It could definately be honed to 4.125 if thats what you need though. In any case, I'd suggest getting a true measure on it in any case before ordering pistons for it.
So I am going with 4.1" unless Mike tells me otherwise.

Ok Mikey is telling me its integrated wet sleeve but not the MID. After looking at some pics the MID's look different. It was the same block he ran in his car that made hundreds of passes in the mid 9s for years, and his was set out to 4.125.
I believe I have a buyer coming to pick up, either way I will update the post.
