This T56 Skip Shift (CAGS) Eliminator kit fits the following vehicles: 93-02 Camaro, 93-02 Firebird/Trans-Am, 92-07 Corvette, 93-02 Viper, 04-up GTO and 05-up Chevy SSR. (This kit does not fit cadillac CTS-V)
This Auto Wiring Solutions Skip Shift Eliminator kit will eliminanate that annoying forced 1-4 shift and allow you to shift 1-2-3-4-5-6 without the Computer Aided Gear Selection (CAGS) forcing you to shift directly to 4th gear. The Skip-Shift light on your dash will still illumunate when conditions are met for skip-shift but the CAGS functionality will be removed allowing you to shift the Tranny any way you want. This Eliminator emulates the skip shift solenoid therefore "No Codes Are Set". If you simply unplug the skip shift solenoid without installing this Eliminator the ECM will set a Trouble Code.
