I just bought some super low mile, like 10k 799's absolutely mint for less than 500 fyi. Not here to bash but you asked for opinions. The only heads those are really better than are the 853's and its not even a noticeable difference. I would say 250 shipped would be the absolute most you'd honestly get. Anyone looking to buy new heads at 500 would go for ls2/6

I bought a low mileage set of 243 heads off of car-part for 240 shipped. they have less than 50k and came with the rockers. since 243 heads are standard on new 5.3 truck engines, they pretty much kill the value of 241 heads.
Not trying to be a jerk, you asked for examples.

Thats something positive!
There is someone out there who needs new heads. Some people are cheap and look for cost effective savings buying mystery heads with xxK miles on them with carbon build-up, leaky seals, and what ever else "could" be there....and these folks pay $100 to $200 for these heads!!!
Brand new heads for just a little bit more? A no brainer is you ask me.
I will sell for less, but I will not sell them for the $100 offers.
thanks for the comments.
