For sale Dyno/RACE PROVEN Edelbrock 245cc heads by(west coast racing cylinder heads) proheads.com LS1/LS2 heads. Less then 500miles since new, dyno time, a few drag strip passes, and a little bit of street driving. Heads are in excellent shape and are ready to bolt on and go. Currently Heads are set up for a solid roller cam. Heads where milled (.010) to achieve a 65cc combustion chamber, have new top of the line PSI valve springs (part #LS1513ML) for psi spring specs please see below picture chart. Also has CV valve spring retainer, premium steel, spring type: 8.0 taper angle (part # XRE513-S) and CV xceldyne elite titanium valve locks (part # XLO993-C) Have over $1200.00 in just valve springs, locks and retainers. Heads also have 3/8 screw in studs for rock arm and guide plates which would be included. For those wanting a hydraulic set up, I have the original set of REV dual springs, locks and titanium retainers that could be installed at your request. These springs are good up to .650 lift and are top of the line springs. I had these heads on my gto with the hydraulic setup and ran consistent 11.2’s @120 with a yank PT 4400 converter and 391 gear set at full street race weight (3900lbs) car dynoed well over 460rwhp with the hydraulic setup going thru the auto trans and big stall and gear. With the solid setup, car ET about the same with a 122+ trap speed. But due to higher rpm hp and less low/mid range torque, would have to re stall car and lose street ability, which I didn’t want to do. I paid $2400 for these heads before the solid set up. Decided to go a different route with car and set up, my loss is your gain!
Price for heads with solid setup $2250.00 shipped to your door.
With Hydraulic setup: $1850 shipped to your door.

These heads are typically for a max effort 6.0L + cid engine they flow some sick numbers. They would be way to big for a ls1(unless you where running a big stall or a big gear or even both), other than a straight drag car with a very capable intake set up. My ls2 stock cid was revving past 7,000k rpms and still climbing in HP with a victor jr intake setup. Would only recommend these heads for someone with 6.0L+ cid (or stroker). If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
