Up for sale is a 10-Bolt rear end I pulled out of my 98 Trans Am
It's a 3 Channel rear, so it has a center ABS sensor port, but will work with a 4 channel system if you replace the standard axles with 4 channel axles.
It has a 3 Series carrier with an Auburn differential unit (not a Torsen) and has emergency brakes and caliper mounts installed.
Modifications include 4.10 Motive Gears, Ratech solid pinion collar, ARP stud kit and a TA Performance Aluminum rear end girdle.
The Good News:
The axle housing, axles, bearings, seals, ring and pinion are all in good shape with little play.
The Bad News:
The differential carrier took a $h!t, so you'll either need to replace the diff or add a mini spool.
If you're a toothless hillbilly and you're feelin lucky, you can weld the axle gears to the carrier and just call it a day.
I upgraded to a Strange 12-Bolt years ago and it's been sitting in shop ever since, so it will need a good cleaning.
Take it home TODAY for only $150 bucks!! (that's less than the cost of the TA Performance girdle alone!!).
