This is a bare aluminum block from a 99-00 LS1 with the main caps. I had the block bored to 3.903, modified the top valley area to accept the LS6 valley cover, had the block decked slightly to clean it up, and also had the line bore checked. After the work was done I oiled the block down and put it in a storage bag and stored it over the winter until I could get the other parts rounded up to assemble the complete motor. Well, pulled the bag off this spring and apparently I didn't oil the number 1 cylinder down as well as I thought I did. There are some decent pits in it. Had the local machine shop check the motor out and it needs bored out about another .005 or so to clean it up. He was 50/50 on whether or not that .005 would get it. I just decided it would be easier for me to hunt down another block (picked up an LM7) and go that way considering I already had the whole bottom end balanced and so on. Block is worth about $35-$40 in scrap (aluminum right now is about $.40 a pound and the block is almost 100 lbs) so I'm being fair I think. If you have other LSx stuff you want to trade please PM me and I'll consider it. There are a couple of items I might be willing to trade for. I will ship the block, but I would prefer somebody to pick it up locally. Buyer is obviously responsible for shipping costs if it is to be shipped. Thanks for looking.

Blocks go for about 12 bucks at the scrap metal! They have alot of steel in them.
